Product Overview
SRDM is a surface-roughened monocrystalline micron diamond powder developed for precision lapping and polishing applications requiring active cutting, controlled material removal and stable surface quality. Through controlled surface treatment, the diamond particles develop a micro-textured, multi-edge surface that increases the number of active contact points while retaining the underlying monocrystalline structure. The roughened surface can also provide additional mechanical interlocking in selected bonded and electroplated abrasive systems.
