Cu Coated Diamond Powder

Cu Coated Diamond Powder

20+ Years Experience Consistent Batch Quality Customized Solutions
Product Overview
Cu Coated Diamond Powder is a copper-coated synthetic diamond developed for resin-bond abrasive tools and selected copper-matrix composite applications. The metallic copper layer improves heat distribution, particle coverage and compatibility with copper-containing systems, while also supporting grit retention in bonded tools where stable grinding performance and controlled diamond exposure are required.

Features

  • Copper Surface Coating: Provides uniform metallic coverage around the diamond particles.
  • Improved Heat Distribution: Copper helps transfer heat through the surrounding bond or matrix during processing.
  • Improved Grit Retention: Supports mechanical anchoring in selected resin-bond abrasive tools.
  • Copper-Matrix Compatibility: Provides a metallized surface suitable for selected Cu-based composite processing routes.
  • Controlled Diamond Exposure: Coating level can be adjusted to balance particle retention and cutting activity.
  • Flexible Application Direction: Suitable for both abrasive-tool and selected thermal-composite applications.
