Specifications

Coating Types and Their Functions

Electroless Plating (Chemical Plating)

An auto-catalytic process that deposits coatings such as Ni or Cu uniformly without electricity. It is ideal for micron powders and irregular grains, improving wettability, dispersion, and bond retention in resin and bronze bond tools.

Electroplating Method

A current-assisted coating process for Ni, Ni-Co, and similar metal layers with strong adhesion. It enables precise thickness control and reliable grit holding, making it suitable for electroplated tools and applications requiring consistent particle retention.

CVD (Chemical Vapour Deposition)

A high-temperature vapour-phase process that forms carbide-forming coatings such as Ti, Cr, or TiC. CVD coatings provide excellent thermal stability, oxidation resistance, and chemical protection, ideal for vitrified and metal bond tools used in aggressive, high-temperature grinding.
